Assistant Professor of physiological plant diseases, Damanhour University,  Faculty of Agriculture, Plant Pathology Department, Egypt, who is passionate about basic and applied plant pathology, and has more than a decade of experience in the following areas:

- Basic and applied plant diseases and environmental stresses in lab,
  greenhouse, semi-open and open field.

​

- Quantification of disease severity and components using image analysis

​

- Genotyping and phenotyping disease resistance and abiotic stress tolerance 

​

- Effective teaching of plant pathology and communicating plant pathology  to the public.

​

- Team-building and hands-on training for students and technicians.

​

- Leading multidisciplinary studies.
